Companion Proceedings of the Brazilian Symposium on Computing Applied to Healthcare (SBCAS)

The Companion Proceedings of the 24th Brazilian Symposium on Computing Applied to Health (SBCAS 2024) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held from June 25 to 28, 2024, in Goiânia/GO, Brazil. This edition includes papers chosen through a single-blind review process, covering the following tracks:

• Undergraduate Research Works Contest (CTIC) received a total of 14 paper submissions, of which 8 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 57.1%. The event was coordinated by Andrea Gomes Campos Bianchi (UFOP) and Luciana de Oliveira Berretta (UFG);
• Artur Ziviani Award - Theses and Dissertations Contest (CTD) received a total of 18 paper submissions, of which 12 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 66.6%. The event was coordinated by Débora Christina Muchaluat Saade (UFF) and Iwens Gervásio Sene Junior (UFG);
• Tools and Applications Track received a total of 21 paper submissions, of which 5 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 23.8%. The event was coordinated by Lina Maria Garcés Rodrigues (USP) and Renata Dutra Braga (UFG).

The articles in this volume were submitted on 03/25/2024, accepted for publication on 04/22/2024, with the final version submitted on 05/02/2024.
