Current Issue
The Companion Proceedings of the 23rd Brazilian Symposium on Computing Applied to Health (SBCAS 2023) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in São Paulo/SP, from June 27-30, 2023. In this issue, the proceedings gather the papers accepted and presented in the tracks Undergraduate Research Works Contest (CTIC), Artur Ziviani Award for Theses and Dissertations (CTD), and Tools and Applications. These papers were selected through a single-blind review. To encourage students to continue working in the area, all papers submitted for the CTIC and CTD tracks were accepted. The Tools and Applications track includes 11 papers, out of a total of 16 papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 68.7%. This volume was organized by Sérgio Teixeira de Carvalho (UFG), CTIC coordinator; Rodrigo de Melo Souza Veras (UPI), CTD coordinator; and, finally, Lina Garcés (UNIFEI), coordinator of the Tools and Applications track.
