Evaluation of the process to meet the demands of Embrapa's software products

Abstract


Software process improvements have received greater attention and visibility from organizations and software professionals since the 90’s. By the beginning of the decade, new normalization and models were developed to measure software process quality. These measurements allowed the identification of quantitative and qualitative data about the process development and defined evaluation mechanisms through which is possible to keep a continuous improvement in software process quality. In this paper, a software process from Embrapa will be appraised through the application of Goal Question Metrics (GQM).
