The Proceedings of the 2nd Brazilian Symposium on Software Quality (SBQS 2003) bring the papers selected and presented in the Fortaleza/CE. In this issue, the proceedings include 20 full papers. These papers were selected through a blind review, from a total of 45 full papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 44,4%. The event's program committee was coordinated by Arnaldo Dias Belchior (UNIFOR) e Kival Chaves Weber (PBQP/Software) who organized this volume.
