Companion Proceedings of the Brazilian Symposium on Cybersecurity (SBSeg)

The Companion Proceedings of the 25th Brazilian Symposium on Cybersecurity (SBSeg 2025) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Foz do Iguaçu/PR, Brazil, from September 1-4, 2025. In this issue, the proceedings include the selected works from the following tracks:

• The Tools (SF) received a total of 24 article submissions, of which 12 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 50%. These works were selected through a double-blind peer review process. The event was coordinated by Davidson Rodrigo Boccardo (Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein) and Wilson S. Melo Jr. (Inmetro). The articles were submitted on 06/09/2025, accepted for publication on 07/03/2025, and the final version was submitted on 07/10/2025.
• The Workshop of Digital Identity Management (WGID) received a total of 10 extended abstract submissions, of which 06 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 60%. These works were selected through a single-blind peer review process. The event was coordinated by Frederico Schardong (IFRS) and Emerson Ribeiro de Mello (IFSC). The extended abstracts were submitted on 06/07/2025, accepted for publication on 07/07/2025, and the final version was submitted on 07/20/2025.
• The Workshop on Scientific Initiation and Undergraduate Works (WTICG) received a total of 27 full paper submissions and 20 submissions of works in progress. Of these, 14 full papers and 07 works in progress were accepted, resulting in acceptance rates of 51.85% and 35%, respectively. These works were selected through a double-blind peer review process. The event was coordinated by Flavia Paiva Agostini (Inmetro) and Vinícius Fülber Garcia (UFPR). The articles were submitted on 05/26/2025, accepted for publication on 07/01/2025, and the final version was submitted on 07/14/2025.
• The Electoral Technology Workshop (WTE) received a total of 05 article submissions, of which 03 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 60%. These works were selected through a double-blind peer review process. The event was coordinated by Roberto Samarone Araújo (UFPA) and Paulo Matias (UFSCar). The articles were submitted on 06/24/2025, accepted for publication on 07/01/2025, and the final version was submitted on 07/21/2025.
• The Quantum Cybersecurity Workshop: Theory, Technologies, and Applications (WQuSec) received a total of 07 article submissions, of which 04 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 57.1%. These works were selected through a single-blind peer review process. The event was coordinated by Antônio Abelém (UFPA) and Jéferson Campos Nobre (UFRGS). The articles were submitted on 07/14/2025, accepted for publication on 07/21/2025, and the final version was submitted on 07/28/2025.
• The Industry Track received a total of 23 article submissions, of which 12 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 52.1%. These works were selected through a single-blind peer review process. The event was coordinated by Diego Kreutz (UNIPAMPA) and Michelle Wangham (UNIVALI/RNP). The articles were submitted on 06/09/2025, accepted for publication on 07/14/2025, and the final version was submitted on 07/21/2025.
