Use of the Scratch authoring environment to favor the construction of mathematical knowledge and the development of formal thinking

Abstract


This article presents the use of the Scratch authoring environment to favor the construction of mathematical knowledge and the development of formal thinking in adolescents. It presents a contextualization about the use of digital technologies in the educational context, the development of formal thinking, the experimentation environment created with the Scratch authoring environment aiming at students to acquire knowledge about angles of reflection and incidence and, finally, results obtained through the observations.
