A Participação de Pessoas com Deficiência e o Papel dos Projetos Práticos em uma Disciplina sobre Acessibilidade em Sistemas Computacionais
Abstract
The attention to developing Inclusive Design skills has grown significantly, especially in Computing courses. This article presents reflections on offers of Accessibility in Computational Systems elective courses for Computer Science and Information Systems courses. The article presents reflections on the importance of involving people with disabilities during the course and on the experiences acquired in practical projects using inclusive design methods with people with disabilities. The article contributes with discussions on the teaching of Digital Accessibility in courses in the area of Computing in specific courses and HCI disciplines.
