Jogos que Transformam: É Possível Combater Padrões Enganosos e Promover o Bem-Estar com Jogos Digitais?

Resumo


Este position paper responde ao Grande Desafio 1 (GD1) da comunidade brasileira de IHC. Diante da crescente proliferação de práticas de design enganoso em jogos digitais, que comprometem a autonomia e a saúde mental dos jogadores, defendemos que os jogos reflexivos transformacionais representam uma via metodológica promissora para avançar o GD1, especialmente no tocante ao bem-estar humano. Argumentamos que, quando fundamentados em teorias robustas como a da Autodeterminação (TAD), esses jogos transcendem a mera conscientização, criando experiências que catalisam a reflexão crítica sobre as consequências éticas das escolhas de design.
