The Role of Technology in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Symptoms
Abstract
This paper presents a Systematic Literature Mapping (SLM) on the role of technology in the diagnosis and treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Various technologies, including magnetic resonance imaging, electroencephalography (EEG), and virtual reality, were identified, demonstrating efficacy in detecting behavior patterns and personalized therapeutic interventions. Despite the benefits, challenges such as cost, maintenance, and validation of methods were highlighted. The study points to future opportunities in adapting personalized interventions and long-term evaluation of the effectiveness of technologies in managing ADHD.References
