The Proceedings of the 9th Brazilian Symposium on Software Quality (SBQS 2010) bring the papers selected and presented in the Belém/PA. In this issue, the proceedings include 31 full papers. These papers were selected through a blind review, from a total of 117 full papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 26,4%. The event's program committee was coordinated by Carlos Alberto Marques Pietrobon (UFOP & PUC-Minas) e Ana Liddy Cenni de Castro Magalhães (FUMEC & QualityFocus) who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on 02/07/2010, accepted for publication on 04/07/2010, with the final version submitted on 04/23/2010.
