The Proceedings of the 6th Brazilian Symposium on Software Quality (SBQS 2007) bring the papers selected and presented in the Porto de Galinhas/PE. In this issue, the proceedings include 33 full papers. These papers were selected through a blind review, from a total of 147 full papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 22,4%. The event's program committee was coordinated by Ana Cristina Rouiller (UFRPE & ProQualiti), Ana Liddy Cenni de Castro Magalhães (ProQualiti & SWQuality), Clênio Figueiredo Salviano (CenPRA & ProQualiti), and Jones Oliveira de Albuquerque (UFRPE & ProQualiti) who organized this volume.
