Proceedings of the Symposium on Virtual and Augmented Reality (SVR)

The Proceedings of the 27th Symposium on Virtual and Augmented Reality (SVR 2025) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held from September 30 to October 03, 2025, in the city of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, collocated with the 24th Symposium on Computer Games and Digital Entertainment (SBGames 2025) and 38th Conference on Graphics, Patterns and Images (SIBGRAPI 2025). In this edition, the proceedings gather the papers selected for the following tracks:

• Tutorials Track, which received a total of 3 paper submissions, of which 2 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 66.6%. These papers were selected through a double-blind peer-review process. The track was coordinated by Daniela Trevisan (UFF) and Eunice Nunes (UFMT). The papers were submitted on 07/15/2025, accepted for publication on 07/29/2025, and had their final versions submitted on 08/01/2025.
• JBCS Track, which received a total of 6 paper submissions, of which 5 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 83.3%. These papers were selected through a single-blind peer-review process. The track was coordinated by João Paulo Lima (UFRPE), Joaquim Bento (UFC), Diego Thomas (Kyushu University), Soraia Raupp Musse (PUCRS), Altigran Soares da Silva (UFAM), and Mike G. Hinchey (University of Limerick). The papers were submitted on 04/13/2025, accepted for publication on 07/09/2025, and had their final versions submitted on 08/08/2025.
• Main Track, which received a total of 116 paper submissions, of which 59 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 50.8%. These papers were selected through a double-blind peer-review process. The track was coordinated by João Paulo Lima (UFRPE), Joaquim Bento (UFC), and Diego Thomas (Kyushu University). The papers were submitted on 06/23/2025, accepted for publication on 07/21/2025, and had their final versions submitted on 08/21/2025.
