The Proceedings of the 37th Brazilian Symposium on Databases (SBBD 2022) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Búzios/RJ, from September 19-23, 2022. In this issue, the proceedings include 28 full papers and 16 short papers. These papers were selected through a double-blind review, from a total of 62 full papers and 23 short papers submitted, which implied acceptance rates of 45.1% and 56.5%, respectively. Other three papers, originally submitted to the full paper track, were accepted as short. Both full and short papers include works from the categories research, industry or applications, and vision, in diverse areas of databases, data science, and big data. The Full Papers program committee was coordinated by Damires Souza (IFPB, Brazil), and the Short Papers program committee was coordinated by Daniel Kaster (UEL, Brazil), who organized this volume. The full papers in this volume were submitted by 06/21/2022, accepted for publication on 07/25/2022 and 08/05/2022, with the final version submitted on 08/22/2022. The short, vision, and industrial papers in this volume, in turn, were submitted on 07/13/2022, accepted for publication on 08/09/2022, with the final version submitted on 08/23/2022.
