Setting Up Inactive Google Accounts: Cognitive Pathway and Other Assessment Trails
Abstract
A large amount of digital goods and assets are produced daily in the various spaces on the internet. After users die, these goods and assets constitute their digital legacy and need a destination. Today, many systems are looking for solutions for managing post-mortem digital legacy. This study aims to evaluate the interactive system of Google Inactive Account Manager (IAM) or Inactive Accounts, through the mPC inspection method (Cognitive Pathway method) and compare the results of this evaluation with others provided in the literature. The results show that evaluation methods in mPC also contribute to improve user interaction with the system and point out issues that need improvement.
