The Proceedings of the VII National Computing Meeting of Federal Institutes (ENCompIF 2020) bring the papers selected and presented in the online edition of the event, on November 16 to 20, as part of the 40th Brazilian Computing Society Congress (CSBC 2020) which had the theme "Artificially human or Humanly artificial? Challenges for society 5.0". In this issue, the proceedings include 10 full papers and 7 short papers. These papers were selected through a double-blind peer-review process, from a total of 60 full papers and 20 short papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 16% and 35%, respectively. The event's program committee was coordinated by Carlos Roberto de Oliveira Junior e Marcelo Rafael Borth, who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on 04/30/2020, accepted for publication on 06/10/2020, with the final version submitted on 06/30/2020.
