ChartLab 2.0: Simple Communication beyond Graphics
Abstract
In this work, we present the Chart Lab tool to support the creation of charts that are easier to understand, especially for people with low literacy. The system is based on rules from the literature in the area of data visualizations and practices of the Simple Language technique. Based on recommendations for changes to graph components, changes are promoted to improve reader understanding.
