The Proceedings of the 26th Brazilian Symposium on Computing Applied to Health (SBCAS 2026) bring the papers selected and presented at the event held from June 1 to June 4, 2026, in Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
In this edition, the proceedings include 107 full papers and 39 work-in-progress papers, covering innovative research and relevant applications at the interface between Computing and Health. The papers were selected through a peer-review process following a double-blind review model, from a total of 305 full paper submissions and 68 work-in-progress submissions, resulting in acceptance rates of 35.1% and 57.4%, respectively.
The volume was edited by Sérgio Teixeira de Carvalho (UFG) and Alexei Manso Correa Machado (PUC - UFMG), coordinators of the Main Track of SBCAS 2026. The papers included in this series were submitted on 03/09/2026, accepted for publication on 04/15/2026, and had their final versions submitted on 05/05/2026. The editorial preparation of the proceedings was supported by Geovani Lopes Martins (IFMG), who was responsible for monitoring the final submissions and consolidating the versions published in this volume.
SBCAS 2026 was organized by the Brazilian Computing Society, through the Special Committee on Applied Computing to Health (CE-CAS), with the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP) serving as the executing institution.
