The Proceedings of the 47th edition of the Integrated Software and Hardware Seminar (SEMISH 2020) bring the papers selected and presented in the online edition of the event, on November 16 to 20, as part of the 40th Brazilian Computing Society Congress (CSBC 2020) which had the theme “Artificially human or Humanly artificial? Challenges for society 5.0”. In this issue, the proceedings include 24 (twenty-four) full papers. These papers were selected through a blind peer-review process, from a total of 56 (fifty-six) full papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 43% (forty-three percent) acceptance rate, respectively. The event's program committee was coordinated by Thais Vasconcelos Batista, who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on 30 April 2020, accepted for publication on 5 June 2020, with the final version submitted on 30 June 2020.
