Current Issue
The Proceedings of the 7th Workshop on the Implications of Computing in Society (WICS 2026) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Gramado, RS, Brazil, from July 19 to 23, 2026, as part of the 46th Congress of the Brazilian Computing Society (CSBC 2026), whose theme was "Digital Transformation for a World in Climate Emergency". In this issue, the proceedings include 25 full papers, 6 short papers, and 6 tools. These works were selected through a double-blind peer review process, from a total of 63 full papers, 31 short papers, and 15 tools submitted, resulting in acceptance rates of 39.7%, 13.3%, and 40%, respectively. The workshop was coordinated by Thiago Adriano Coleti (UENP) and Valéria Quadros dos Reis (UFMS), who organized this volume together with Rodrigo Mansilha (UNIPAMPA), Publications Chair of CSBC 2026. The articles in this volume were submitted on 03/30/2026, accepted for publication on 05/04/2026, with the final version submitted on 05/18/2026.
