The Proceedings of the 6th National Computing Meeting of Federal Institutes (ENCompIF 2019) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Belém, on July 18, was part of the 39th Brazilian Computing Society Congress (CSBC 2019) which had the theme "Computing and Social-Environmental Responsibility". In this issue, the proceedings include 8 papers in the track "Works developed by the guidance of high school students", 3 papers in the track "Works developed in undergraduate and graduate courses", and 1 paper in the track "Works developed by teachers initiatives". These papers were selected through a blind peer-review process, from a total of 52 papers in the track "Works developed by the guidance of high school students", 45 papers in the track "Works developed in undergraduate and graduate courses", and 15 papers in the track "Works developed by teachers initiatives" submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 15%, 7%, and 7%, respectively. The event's program committee was coordinated by Carlos Roberto de Oliveira Júnior (IFRJ), who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on March 25, accepted for publication on April 29, with the final version submitted on May 6.
