The Proceedings of the 1st Workshop on Computational Thinking and Inclusion (WPCI 2022) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held from November 16 to 19, 2022, in Manaus/AM, as part of the 11th Brazilian Congress on Computers in Education (CBIE 2022) which had the theme "Our technologies in Education and the appreciation of Brazilian identity and culture". In this issue, the proceedings include 15 full papers, which were selected through a double-blind peer review, with an approximately acceptance rate of 65%. The event's Program Committee was coordinated by Maria Cristina Mendes (UFF), Ruth Mariani Braz (UFF), and Sérgio Crespo C. S. Pinto (UFF), who organized this volume together with Rafael Dias Araújo (UFU), CBIE 2022 Publications Chair. The papers in this volume were submitted on 08/26/2022, and accepted for publication on 09/09/2022, with the camera-ready version submitted on 09/16/2022.
