Companion Proceedings of the Brazilian Symposium on Collaborative Systems (SBSC)

The Companion Proceedings of the 19th Brazilian Symposium on Collaborative Systems (SBSC 2024) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Salvador/BA, Brazil, from April 29 to May 03, 2024, which had the theme "Collaboration and Society in the Now". In this edition, the companion proceedings include the works selected for the following tracks:

• Research Design, coordinated by Bruno Gadelha (UFAM) and Rita Suzana Maciel (UFBA), features 10 selected articles through a blind peer review process, out of a total of 14 submitted articles, resulting in an acceptance rate of 71.4%. These works were submitted on 01/26/2024, accepted for publication on 03/01/2024, with the final version submitted on 03/08/2024;
• International Publications, coordinated by Cleidson R. B. de Souza (UFPA) and Raquel Oliveira Prates (UFMG), features 02 selected articles through a blind peer review process, out of a total of 04 submitted articles, resulting in an acceptance rate of 50%. These works were submitted on 03/01/2024, accepted for publication on 03/11/2024, with the final version submitted on 04/01/2024;
• Thesis, Dissertations and Undergraduate Thesis on Collaborative Systems Contest, coordinated by Ana Paula Chaves Steinmacher (Northern Arizona University) and Renata Araujo (UPM), features 06 selected articles through a blind peer review process, out of a total of 11 submitted articles, resulting in an acceptance rate of 54.5%. These works were submitted on 01/12/2024, accepted for publication on 02/26/2024, with the final version submitted on 03/08/2024;
• Society, Extension, and Collaboration, coordinated by Melise Maria Veiga de Paula (UNIFEI) and Pablo Vieira Florentino (IFBA), features 20 selected articles through a blind peer review process, out of a total of 26 submitted articles, resulting in an acceptance rate of 77%. These works were submitted on 02/19/2024, accepted for publication on 03/13/2024, with the final version submitted on 03/18/2024;
• Collaboration in Practice, coordinated by Leandro Andrade (UFBA), Leticia Machado (UFRGS), Marcela Silva (Unipampa), and Marcia Lucena (UFRN), features 07 selected articles through a blind peer review process, out of a total of 09 submitted articles, resulting in an acceptance rate of 77.7%. These works were submitted on 02/19/2024, accepted for publication on 03/13/2024, with the final version submitted on 03/18/2024.

The event's program committee was coordinated by Adriana Vivacqua (UFRJ) and Rafael Parizi (IFFar), who organized this volume.
