Companion Proceedings of the Brazilian Symposium on Collaborative Systems (SBSC)

The Companion Proceedings of the XXI Brazilian Symposium on Collaborative Systems (SBSC 2026) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Porto Alegre/RS, Brazil, from June 08-12, 2026, which had the theme “Collaborating to Transform: Technologies to Rebuild, Innovate, and Connect”. In this edition, the companion proceedings include the works selected for the following tracks:

• Research Design, coordinated by Ana Cristina Bicharra Garcia (UNIRIO) and Márcio Mantau (UDESC), features 19 selected articles through a single-blind peer review process, out of a total of 22 submitted articles, resulting in an acceptance rate of 86.4%. These works were submitted on 03/01/2026, accepted for publication on 04/10/2026, with the final version submitted on 04/20/2026.

• International Papers, coordinated by Juliana França (UFRJ) and Daniela Schmidt, features 02 selected articles through a single-blind peer review process, out of a total of 06 submitted articles, resulting in an acceptance rate of 33.3%. These works were submitted on 03/01/2026, accepted for publication on 04/14/2026, with the final version submitted on 04/20/2026.

• Thesis, Dissertations and Undergraduate Thesis on Collaborative Systems Contest, coordinated by Adriana S. Vivacqua (UFRJ) and Bruna Diirr (UNIRIO), features 09 selected articles through a single-blind peer review process, out of a total of 12 submitted articles, resulting in an acceptance rate of 75%. These works were submitted on 03/01/2026, accepted for publication on 04/10/2026, with the final version submitted on 04/20/2026.

• Collaboration in Practice, coordinated by Angélica Dias (UFRJ) and Érika Cota (UFRGS), features 05 selected articles through a single-blind peer review process, out of a total of 06 submitted articles, resulting in an acceptance rate of 83.3%. These works were submitted on 03/01/2026, accepted for publication on 04/10/2026, with the final version submitted on 04/20/2026.
