The Proceedings of the 22nd Symposium on Virtual and Augmented Reality (SVR 2020) bring the papers selected and presented in the online edition of the event, held during the period of November 7 to 10th, 2020. In this issue, the proceedings include 44 full papers and 15 short papers. These papers were selected through a double-blind peer-review process, from a total of 58 full papers and 18 short papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 75% and 83%, respectively. The event's program committee was coordinated by Fátima Nunes, Indira Thouvenin, and Pablo Figueroa, who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on July 20th, 2020, accepted for publication on August 30th, 2020, with the final version submitted on September 14th, 2020.
