Current Issue
The Companion Proceedings of the 38th Brazilian Symposium on Databases (SBBD 2023) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil, from September 25-29, 2023. In this issue, the proceedings include 11 papers presented at the Workshop on Undergraduate Student Work (WTAG), 10 papers presented at the Demos and Applications (DEMOS), 05 papers presented at the Workshop on Thesis and Dissertation (WTDBD), 05 Tutorials, 07 papers presented at the Thesis and Dissertation Contest (CTDBD), and 04 papers presented at the Workshop on Data-Driven Extreme Events Analytics (DEXEA). The Program Committee for WTAG, DEMOS, WTDBD, Tutorials, CTDBD and DEXEA were, respectively, chaired by Profs. Marcelo Iury (UFPB), Marcos Bedo (UFF), Renata Galante (UFRGS), Marcos André Gonçalves (UFMG), Eduardo C. de Almeida (UFPR), Eduardo H. M. Pena (UTFPR), Eduardo Bezerra (CEFET/RJ), Eduardo Ogasawara (CEFET/RJ), Fabio Porto (LNCC), and Mariza Ferro (UFF).
The richness of this issue can be mainly credited to the authors and reviewers. We thank them a lot for their insightful contributions and discussions during SBBD 2023.
