Current Issue
The Companion Proceedings of the 29th Brazilian Symposium on Multimedia and Web (WebMedia 2023) bring the papers selected and presented in the Contests and workshops of the edition of the event held in Ribeirão Preto, from October 23rd to 27th, 2023. The 5th Thesis and Dissertation Contest (CTD) received 12 paper submissions, of which 5 master's dissertations and 4 doctoral theses were selected for the final stage, in which they compete for the awards of Best Master's Dissertation and Doctoral Thesis. The 3rd Undergraduate Research Contest (CTIC) received 13 submissions. At the end of the review process, 5 works were selected for presentation and publication. The 22nd Workshop on Tools and Applications (WFA) received 18 submissions. At the end of the review process, 6 tools or applications and 4 social impact projects were selected for presentation and publication. Finally, this volume brings the papers selected and presented in the Future of Interactive Digital TV Workshop (WTVDI), which received 10 submissions and selected 9 position papers to be presented. The event's program committee was coordinated by Celso Saibel (UFES), Diego Roberto Colombo Dias (UFSJ), and Leonardo Chaves Dutra da Rocha (UFSJ), who organized this volume.
