The Proceedings of the 18th Workshop on Computing Education (WEI 2010) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Belo Horizonte/MG, Brazil, from July 20 to 23, 2010, as part of the 30th Brazilian Computing Society Congress (CSBC 2010) which had the theme "Green Computing: Scientific and Technological Challenges". In this issue, the proceedings include 22 full papers and 03 short papers. This volume was organized by Noemi Rodriguez (PUC-Rio) and Ismar Silveira (Mackenzie), the event chairs.
