Current Issue
The Companion Proceedings of the 6th Brazilian Symposium on Computing Education (EduComp 2026) bring the selected and presented papers in the sixth edition of the event held from May 4 to 8, 2026, in the city of Campo Grande/MS, Brazil, colocated with the III Brazilian Symposium on Computing in Basic Education (SBC-EB 2026). In this issue, the proceedings include the papers selected through a single-blind peer review process for the following tracks:
- New Ideas Lab, coordinated by Anderson da Silva Marcolino (UFPR), with submissions on 02/26/2026, accepted for publication on 03/16/2026, with the final version submitted on 03/23/2026.
- 3rd Contest of Theses and Dissertations in Computing Education (III CTD-EduComp), coordinated by Rodrigo Duran (IFB), with submissions on 02/09/2026, accepted for publication on 04/01/2026, with the final version submitted on 04/15/2026.
- Tutorial Proposals, coordinated by Maria Ivanilse Calderon Ribeiro (IFRO), with mini-course proposals submitted on 02/26/2026, accepted for publication on 03/16/2026, with the final version submitted on 03/23/2026.
- Thematic Panels, coordinated by Jefferson Rodrigo Speck (Faculdade Donaduzzi/Unioeste), with proposals submitted on 02/26/2026, accepted for publication on 03/16/2026, with the final version submitted on 03/23/2026.
There were 26 abstracts selected in the New Ideas Lab, 9 abstracts of completed master's/doctoral works presented at III CTD-EduComp, 5 mini-course proposals, and 3 thematic panel proposals. Leandro Silva Galvão de Carvalho (UFAM) and Ricardo Caceffo (Univesp) were the general coordinators of the EduComp 2026 Program Committee. This volume was edited by Said Sadique Aidi (UFMS) and Valéria Quadros dos Reis (UFMS).
