Current Issue
The Proceedings of the 24th Regional Computing School of Bahia, Alagoas, and Sergipe (ERBASE 2024) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition the event held from November 5 to 8, 2024, in the city of Salvador/BA, Brazil, with the theme "Immersive and Generative Realities". The general coordination of ERBASE 2024 was led by João Soares de Oliveira Neto (UFBA-Camaçari), and the organization of these proceedings was handled by Ingrid Winkler (SENAI/CIMATEC), Paulo Eduardo Ambrósio (UESC), and João Soares de Oliveira Neto (UFBA-Camaçari). The proceedings include the papers selected for the following satellite events:
- Workshop on Research Papers (PESQBASE) received a total of 40 paper submissions, of which 25 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 62.5%. These papers were selected through a double-blind peer review process. The event was coordinated by João Carlos Nunes Bittencourt (UFRB), João Soares de Oliveira Neto (UFBA), Camila Bozzera da Silva (UFRB), Djalma Almeida Lima Filho (IFBA), Rubens dos Santos Junior (IFS), and Débora Alcina Rego Chaves (UNEB);
- Workshop on Innovative Experiments (XBASE) received a total of 16 paper submissions, of which 04 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 25%. These papers were selected through a single-blind peer review process. The event was coordinated by Adilson Santos (Cesmac), Eduardo Cardoso Moraes (IFAL), and Victor Travassos Sarinho (UEFS);
- Workshop on Computer Education and Informatics in Education (WEIBASE) received a total of 39 paper submissions, of which 19 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 48.7%. These papers were selected through an open review process. The event was coordinated by Gilson Pereira dos Santos Júnior (IF Sergipe), Mônica Massa (UNEB), and Tiago Palma Pagano (UFRB);
- Digital Girls Workshop received a total of 07 paper submissions, of which 05 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 71.4%. These papers were selected through a single-blind peer review process. The event was coordinated by Maria Cristina Elyote Marques Santos (UNEB), Andrea de Matos Machado (UNEB/Senai/CIMATEC), Carina S. Silveira (UFBA), Juliana Maria Oliveira dos Santos (UFBA), and Vânia Gonçalves de Brito dos Santos (UNEB).
The papers included in this series of proceedings were submitted on 01/10/2024, accepted for publication on 13/10/2024, with the final version submitted on 20/10/2024.
