The Proceedings of the 20th Workshop on Computing Education (WEI 2012) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Curitiba/PR, Brazil, from July 16 to 19, 2012, as part of the 32nd Brazilian Computing Society Congress (CSBC 2012) which had the theme "Computing and Innovation: expanding frontiers to solve challenges in Brazil". In this issue, the proceedings include 29 full papers and 08 short papers. The event's program committee was coordinated by Auri Marcelo Rizzo Vincenzi (UFG), José Palazzo Moreira de Oliveira (UFRGS), and Eduardo Jaques Spinosa (UFPR), who organized this volume.
