Current Issue
The Companion Proceedings of the 32nd Brazilian Symposium on Multimedia and Web (WebMedia 2026) bring the papers selected and presented in the Contests and workshops of the edition of the event held in Rio de Janeiro/RJ, from October 27th to 30th, 2028. The 8th Thesis and Dissertation Contest (CTD) received 19 paper submissions, of which 5 master's dissertations and 4 doctoral theses were selected for the final stage, in which they compete for the awards of Best Master's Dissertation and Doctoral Thesis. The 6th Undergraduate Research Contest (CTIC) received 25 submissions. At the end of the review process, 8 works were selected for presentation and publication. The 25th Workshop on Tools and Applications (WFA) received 61 submissions. At the end of the review process, 37 tools or applications were selected for presentation and publication. WebMedia for Everyone (W4E) received a total of 29 papers and, at the end of the review process, 17 papers were selected for publication in the event's proceedings. The 9th Workshop on the Future of Interactive Digital TV (WTVDI) received 9 submissions, 8 of which were selected for presentation and publication in the event proceedings. Finally, this volume also includes papers accepted and presented at the 2nd Brazilian Workshop on Web3 Systems (BrWeb3), which received 7 submissions, 5 of which were selected for presentation and publication in the event proceedings. This volume was organized by the general chairs, André de Lima Salgado (UFLA), André Pimenta Freire (UFLA), and Marluce Rodrigues Pereira (UFLA), the chairs of the WebMedia Workshops and Contests, Celso Alberto Saibel Santos (UFES), Windson Viana de Carvalho (UFC),Heitor Augustus Xavier Costa (UFLA), Fabrício Aguiar Silva (UFV), Frederico Araujo Durao (UFBA), Luciano Volcan Agostini (UFPEL), Carlos André G. Ferraz (UFPE), Luiz Henrique Andrade Correia (UFLA), Alessandreia Marta de Oliveira (UFJF), Kamila Rios da Hora Rodrigues (USP), Antonio José Grandson Busson (BTG Pactual), Sergio Colcher (PUC-Rio), Julio Cesar Duarte (IME), Alessandra Alaniz Macedo (USP), Darlinton B. F. Carvalho (UFSJ), and the publication chairs Roberto Willrich (UFSC), Eduardo Barrére (UFJF) and Sandra Souza Rodrigues (UFLA).
