The Proceedings of the 6th Brazilian Symposium on Computing Education (EduComp 2026) bring the selected and presented papers in the sixth edition of the event held from May 4 to 8, 2026, in the city of Campo Grande/MS, Brazil, colocated with the III Brazilian Symposium on Computing in Basic Education (SBC-EB 2026). In this issue, the proceedings include 66 full papers, which were selected through a double-blind peer review, from a total of 382 full papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 17.3%. The event's Program Committee was coordinated by Leandro Silva Galvão de Carvalho (UFAM) and Ricardo Caceffo (Univesp). The papers in this volume were submitted on 12/15/2025, accepted for publication on 02/12/2026, with the final version submitted on 02/28/2026. This volume was edited by Said Sadique Aidi (UFMS) and Valéria Quadros dos Reis (UFMS).
EduComp 2026 included five tracks:
- Track 1: Research Papers, coordinated by Eryck Silva (Unicamp) and Yorah Bosse (University at Buffalo);
- Track 2: Experience Reports, coordinated by Fernanda Pires (UEA) and Luciano Ferreira (UFRR);
- Track 3: Curriculum, coordinated by Alessandreia Marta de Oliveira (UFJF) and Taciana Pontual (UFRPE);
- Track 4: Educational Resources and Environments, coordinated by Eduardo Figueiredo (UFMG) and Ronney Castro (UFJF); and
- Track 5: Essays, coordinated by João Henrique Berssanette (IFPR) and João Paulo Alres (UTFPR).
