The Proceedings of the 18th Women in Information Technology (WIT 2024) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Brasília, DF, Brazil, from July 21 to 25, 2024, as part of the 44th Congress of the Brazilian Computing Society (CSBC 2024), whose theme was "Digital Desert: The Disconnected and Unseen World". In this issue, the proceedings include 51 papers, which were selected through a single-blind peer review process, among 81 submitions, impliing an acceptance rate of 63%. The event's Program Committee Chairs Caroline Reis Vieira Santos Rauta (IFSC) and Raquel Cabral (UFAL) organized this volume. The papers in this volume were submitted on 04/03/2024 and accepted for publication on 05/10/2024.
