2025: Proceedings of the 24th Brazilian Symposium on Human Factors in Computing Systems

The Proceedings of the 24th Brazilian Symposium on Human Factors in Computing Systems (IHC 2025) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held from September 8 to 10, 2025, in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. In this edition, 160 papers were submitted, with 76 accepted for publication. These works were selected through a double-blind peer review process. The program committee was chaired by Sílvia Amélia Bim (UTFPR), Vânia Neris (UFSCar), and Paula Souza (UFSCar), who organized this volume together with the publication coordinators Claiton Correa (IF Farroupilha), Sandra Rodrigues (UFLA), Cristiane Lana (UFLA), and Letícia Cardoso M. Mustafá Awawdeh (UFLA).

The proceedings featured four tracks:

  • Experience Reports Track: coordinated by Taciana Pontual Falcão (UFRPE) and Tiago Silva da Silva (UNIFESP);
  • Insightful Ideas and Emerging Results in HCI Track: coordinated by Emanuel Duarte (UNICAMP) and Vinícius Pereira (UFMT);
  • Júnia Coutinho Anacleto Award: coordinated by Marcelle Mota (UFPA), Marcos Seruffo (UFPA), and Ticianne Darin (UFC);
  • Research Track: coordinated by Kamila Rios Rodrigues (USP) and Marcelo Medeiros Eler (USP).
