Current Issue
The Proceedings of the 5th Brazilian Symposium on Computing Education (EduComp 2025) bring the selected and presented papers in the fifth edition of the event held from April 7 to 10, 2025, in the city of Juiz de Fora/MG, Brazil, colocated with the 2nd Brazilian Symposium on Computing in Basic Education (SBC-EB 2025). In this issue, the proceedings include 65 full papers, which were selected through a double-blind peer review, from a total of 225 full papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 28.9%. The event's Program Committee was coordinated by Leandro Silva Galvão de Carvalho (UFAM). The papers in this volume were submitted on 12/18/2025, accepted for publication on 02/07/2025, with the final version submitted on 02/23/2025. This volume was edited by Ivanilse Calderon (IFRO), Renato de Souza Garcia (IFMS), Ricardo Ferreira Vilela (UFCA), and Williamson Alison Freitas Silva (UNIPAMPA).
EduComp 2025 included five tracks:
- Track 1: Research Papers, coordinated by Jean Carlo Rossa Hauck (UFSC) and Ricardo Edgard Caceffo (Univesp);
- Track 2: Experience Reports, coordinated by Kiev Santos da Gama (UFPE) and Luciana Foss (UFPel);
- Track 3: Curricula, coordinated by Ana Paula Lüdtke Ferreira (UNIPAMPA) and Ana Liz Souto Oliveira (UFPB);
- Track 4: Educational Resources and Environments, coordinated by Rafaela Vilela da Rocha (UFABC) and Eduardo Figueiredo (UFMG); and
- Track 5: Essays, coordinated by João Henrique Bersanette (IFPR) and João Paulo Alres (UTFPR).
