2024: Proceedings of the 5th Seminário Internacional de Educação a Distância

Proceedings of the 5th Seminário Internacional de Educação a Distância (SEAD 2024) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held from September 4 to 7, 2024, in Florianópolis/SC, Brazil, at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina. This edition gathers the extended abstracts selected for the following tracks:

  • Track 1 – Distance learning in public policies: discontinuities and shocks after COVID-19 pandemic, received a total of 9 extended abstracts submissions, of which 7 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 77.7%. These papers were selected through a double-blind peer review process. The track was coordinated by Cláudia Eliane da Matta (Unifei) and Larissa Mendes Medeiros Taques (IFMT);
  • Track 2 – Quality and Innovation in and for distance learning: plausible realities, received a total of 16 extended abstracts submissions, all of which were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 100%. These papers were selected through a double-blind peer review process. The track was coordinated by Maria Aparecida Rodrigues da Fonseca (SME-Anápolis/UFG) and Dayane Horwat Imbriani de Oliveira (UEM);
  • Track 3 – Pedagogical practices and training in the distance learning: overcoming the instrumental and technocentric, received a total of 24 extended abstracts submissions, of which 23 were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 95.8%. These papers were selected through a double-blind peer review process. The track was coordinated by Lilian Giotto Zaros de Medeiros (UFRN) and Genessi Borba Gomes Alves Santos (SEDUC-Goiás/UFG).

The general coordination of the event was led by Daniela da Costa Britto Pereira Lima (UFG), Maria da Glória Silva e Silva (IFSC), and Rafael Pereira Ocampo Moré (UFSC). The scientific coordination was led by Daniela da Costa Britto Pereira Lima (UFG) and Kênia Mara Gaedtke (IFSC).
