2023: Proceedings of the 29th Workshop on Computing at School

The Proceedings of the 29th Workshop on Computing at School (WIE 2023) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held from November 06 to 10, 2023, in the city of Passo Fundo/RS, Brazil, as part of the 12th Brazilian Congress on Computers in Education (CBIE 2023), which had the theme "A school for the future: technology and connectivity at the service of education". In this issue, the proceedings include 116 full papers and 15 short papers, which were selected through a double-blind peer review. The event's program committee was coordinated by Juliana Machado Brandão (UNIPAMPA) and Lidiane Goedert (UDESC), who organized this volume together with Adão Caron Cambraia (IFFar) and Aline Silva De Bona (IFRS), WIE 2023 Chairs. The articles in this volume were submitted on 07/17/2023, accepted for publication on 08/21/2023, with the final version submitted on 08/31/2023.

  • Track 1: Experience reports involving Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDIC) in education, coordinated by Fabiana Diniz Kurtz (Unijuí) and Gláucio José Couri Machado (UFS), pages 01 to 797 and 1273 to 1323;
  • Track 2: Training of human resources for the use of digital information and communication technologies (DIT) in education, coordinated by Sirlei Rigodanzo (IFFar) and Franciele dos Anjos Strohhecjer (IFFar), pages 798 to 1036 and 1324 to 1336;
  • Track 3: Impacts of digital information and communication technologies (DIT) on society, coordinated by Denilson Rodrigues da Silva (URI) and Cristina Paludo Santos (URI/IFFar), pages 1037 to 1148 and 1337 to 1357;
  • Track 4: The use of TDIC in tackling educational inequalities in the post-pandemic, Paulo Júnior Varela (UTFPR) and Maici Duarte Leite (UTFPR), pages 1149 to 1272 and 1358 to 1368.
