2026: Proceedings of the 32nd Workshop on Computing at School

The Proceedings of the 32nd Workshop on Computing at School (WIE 2026) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held from October 5th to 9th, in Goiânia/GO, Brazil, as part of the 15th Brazilian Congress on Computers in Education (CBIE 2026), which had the theme "At the Heart of Brazil, at the Heart of the Debate: Computing, Education, and the Dilemmas of the Digital Age". In this issue, the proceedings include 61 full papers. They were all selected through a double-blind peer review, with an average acceptance rate of 27.3%. The CBIE 2026 Program Committee was coordinated by Rafael Dias Araújo (UFU) e Taciana Pontual Falcão (UFRPE), who organized this volume together with: WIE 2026’ Program Chairs, Ana Paula Freitas Vilela Boaventura (UFJ), Luma da Rocha Seixas (UFBA) and Pedro Henrique Valle (IME-USP); CBIE 2026’ Publication Chairs, Douglas Krug (IFPR), Laura Moraes (UNIRIO) and Marcel da Silva Melo (IF Goiano); and track chairs listed below. The papers that integrate this proceedings were submitted on June 1st, 2026, accepted for publication on July 17, 2026, with the final version submitted on July 24, 2026. WIE 2026 included two thematic tracks:

  • Track 1: Experience Reports with Digital Technologies in Education, coordinated by Leo Natan Paschoal (PUCPR), Lucas de Almeida (UFG) and Paula Nakamoto (IFTM), pages 01 to 722;
  • Track 2: Practices and Experiences with Digital Technologies in Basic Education, coordinated by Geycy Lima (IFNMG), with works published in an e-book.
