The Proceedings of the 26th Workshop on Computing at School (WIE 2020) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held online (from Natal/RN) from 24 to 28 November 2020, as part of the 9th Brazilian Congress on Computers in Education (CBIE 2020) which had the theme "Development of skills and competencies for innovation and social impact". In this issue, the proceedings include 50 full papers and 04 short papers, which were selected through a double blind peer review, with an acceptance rate of 30%. The event's Program Committee was coordinated by Apuena Vieira Gomes (IMD/UFRN) e por Patricia Cabral de Azevedo Restelli Tedesco (CIn/UFPE) who organized this volume together with Rafael Dias Araújo (UFU), CBIE 2020 Publications Chair. The papers in this volume were submitted on August 08, 2020, accepted for publication on September 18, 2020, with the camera-ready version submitted on September 25, 2020.

WIE 2020 included four thematic tracks:

  • Track 1: Experience reports on the use of digital information and communication technologies (ICTs) in education, coordinated by Ecivaldo Matos (IME/UFBA), pages 01 to 308 (full papers);
  • Track 2: Training of human resources for the use of digital information and communication technologies (ICTs) in education, coordinated by Patrícia Smith (CE/UFPE), pages 309 to 388 (full papers) and pages 499 to 503 (short papers);
  • Track 3: Impacts of digital information and communication technologies (ICTs) on society, coordinated by Akynara Aglé (UFERSA), pages 389 to 498 (full papers);
  • Track 4: Exhibition of Practices in Computing Education (MPIE), coordinated by Cibelle Amorim Martins (CE/UFRN) and Luis Paulo Leopoldo Mercado (UFAL), pages 504 to 518 (short papers).
