Current Issue
The Proceedings of the 1st Brazilian Symposium on Computing in Basic Education (SBC-EB 2024) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held from March 13 to 15, 2024, in the city of Porto Alegre/RS, Brazil, with activities also taking place in hubs in the Brazilian cities of Belém/PA, Cuiabá/MT, Natal/RN, and Rio de Janeiro/RJ. In this issue, the proceedings include 51 extended abstracts. These papers were selected through a single-blind review process, from a total of 101 extended abstracts submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 50.5%. The event's program committee was coordinated by Luciana Foss (UFPel), who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on 02/18/2024, accepted for publication on 03/04/2024, with the final version submitted on 03/09/2024.
