2026: Proceedings of the 6th International Seminar on Distance Education / 4th Conect EaD IF Goiano

The Proceedings of the 6th International Seminar on Distance Education (SEAD 2026) / IV Conect EaD IF Goiano bring the papers selected and presented at the event edition held from August 26 to 29, 2026, in the city of Goiânia/GO, under the theme "Public Policies, Quality, and Observatory in Context". The event was under the general coordination of Prof. Dr. Daniela Britto Pereira Lima (UFG), vice-coordination of Prof. Dr. Joseany Rodrigue Cruz (IF Goiano), and scientific coordination of Prof. Dr. Alessandra Maieski (UFMT) and Mára Lúcia Carneiro (UFRGS). In this edition, the proceedings bring together 119 extended abstracts. These papers were selected through a single-blind peer-review process.

The event featured seven thematic groups:

  • WG 1 - Public Policies and Distance Education Quality, Maria Auxiliadora de Carvalho Corassa (UFES-Brazil) and Maria da Gloria Silva e Silva (IFSC-Brazil).
  • WG 2 - Methodologies, Assessment, and Teacher Training for Distance Education, coordinated by Rodrigo Gouvêa Rodrigues (UFG-Brazil) and Pollyana Vieira de Andrade (PUC-Goiás-Brazil).
  • WG 3 - Distance Education and AI: International and Comparative Perspectives, coordinated by Mony Iaslyn Luz (UFG-Brazil) and Rute de Morais Bicalho (IFB-Brazil).
  • WG 4 - Digital Technologies and AI, coordinated by Mony Iaslyn Luz (UFG-Brazil) and Rute de Morais Bicalho (IFB-Brazil).
  • WG 5 - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Distance Education, coordinated by Gislene Magali da Silva (IFTO-Brazil) and Tereza Fernandes (UFMT-Brazil).
  • WG 6 - Hybrid Education and Innovative Methodologies, coordinated by Bianca Santos Bento da Silva (IFAM-Brazil) and Cláudia Eliane da Matta (UNIFEI-Brazil).
  • WG 7 - Global Dialogues on Distance Education Policies, Technologies, and Innovation - International, coordinated by Graciela Eugenia Espinosa de la Rosa (UDG-Mexico), Jenny Margoth Zelaya Matamoros, María José Morales Gámez (UFG-Brazil and Honduras), and Susana Henriques (UAb-Portugal).
