Current Issue
The Proceedings of the 36th Brazilian Symposium on Computers in Education (SBIE 2025) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held from November 24 to 28, 2025, in Curitiba/PR, Brazil, as part of the 14th Brazilian Congress on Computers in Education (CBIE 2025), which had the theme “Education in Transformation: Intelligences that Shape the Future”. In this edition, the proceedings include 106 papers in the Research track, 38 papers in the Innovative Ideas and Emerging Results track, and 8 papers in the Journal First track (only 6 published as an extended abstract). The papers for the first two tracks were selected through a double-blind peer review, with an acceptance rate of 33% and 36%, respectively. The latter selected 61% of the papers through a single-blind peer review. The CBIE 2025 Program Committee was coordinated by Cleon Xavier Pereira Junior (IF Goiano) and Roberto Pereira (UFPR), who organized this volume together with Natasha Malveira Costa Valentim (UFPR), Sheila Reinehr (PUCPR) and Williamson Alison Freitas Silva (UFCA), SBIE 2025’ Program Chairs, and Laura Moraes (UNIRIO), Douglas Krug (IFPR) and Rafael Araújo (UFU), CBIE 2025’ Publication Chairs. The papers included in this proceedings series were submitted on June 09, 2025, accepted for publication on August 13, 2025, and had their final version submitted on August 27, 2025. The chairs of each track were:
- Research Track in Computers in Education, coordinated by Andreza Alencar (UFRPE), Bruno Gadelha (UFAM), Eduardo Filgueiras Damasceno (UTFPR), Gabriel Alves (UFRPE), and Heitor Augustus Xavier Costa (UFLA);
- Innovative Ideas and Emerging Results Track in Computers in Education, coordinated by Guilherme Guerino (UNESPAR), Johnny Cardoso Marques (ITA), and Walter Nakamura (UTFPR);
- Journal First Track, coordinated by Gabriel Alves (UFRPE) and Guilherme Guerino (UNESPAR).
