Current Issue
The Proceedings of the 37th Brazilian Symposium on Computers in Education (SBIE 2026) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held from October 5th to 9th, in Goiânia/GO, Brazil, as part of the 15th Brazilian Congress on Computers in Education (CBIE 2026), which had the theme "At the Heart of Brazil, at the Heart of the Debate: Computing, Education, and the Dilemmas of the Digital Age". In this edition, the proceedings include 172 papers in the Research track, 51 papers in the Innovative Ideas and Emerging Results track, and 4 papers in the Journal First track. The papers for the first two tracks were selected through a double-blind peer review, while the latter selected its papers through a single-blind peer review. The acceptance rate for this edition was 28.4%. The CBIE 2026 Program Committee was coordinated by Rafael Dias Araújo (UFU) e Taciana Pontual Falcão (UFRPE), who organized this volume together with: SBIE 2026’ Program Chairs, Gabriel Alves (UFRPE) and Marcela Pessoa (UEA); CBIE 2026’ Publication Chairs, Douglas Krug (IFPR), Laura Moraes (UNIRIO) and Marcel da Silva Melo (IF Goiano); and track chairs listed below. The papers that integrate this proceedings were submitted on June 1st, 2026, accepted for publication on July 10, 2026, with the final version submitted on July 24, 2026. The chairs of each track were:
- Research Track in Computers in Education, coordinated by André Luiz Brandão (UFABC), Emanuel Marques Queiroga (UTFPR), Isabel Dillmann Nunes (UFRN) and Juliete Costa (IFSULDEMINAS);
- Innovative Ideas and Emerging Results Track in Computers in Education, coordinated by Diego Molinos (UFU) and Saul Delabrida (UFOP);
- Journal First Track, coordinated by Andréa Sabedra Bordin (UFSC).
