2025: Proceedings of the 24th Brazilian Symposium on Games and Digital Entertainment

The Proceedings of the 24th Brazilian Symposium on Games and Digital Entertainment (SBGames 2025) bring the papers selected and presented in Salvador/BA, Brazil, from September 30 to October 3, 2025. The symposium was organized alongside the 27th Symposium on Virtual and Augmented Reality (SVR 2025) and the 38th Conference on Graphics, Patterns, and Images (SIBGRAPI 2025). In this edition, 404 full papers were submitted, with 205 accepted for publication. These works were selected through a single-blind peer review process. The program committee was chaired by Tadeu Moreira de Classe (UNIRIO) and Marcela Sávia Picanço Pessoa (UEA), who, together with the publication coordinator, Williamson Alison Freitas Silva (UFCA), organized this volume alongside Ingrid Winkler (SENAI/CIMATEC) and Luiz Claudio Machado dos Santos (IFBA), general coordinators of SBGames 2025. The companion proceedings of SBGames 2025 included six thematic tracks:

  • Arts & Design Track: coordinated by Rian Oliveira Rezende (PUC-Rio) and Róger Alberto Aburto Villalta (UFBA);
  • Computing Track: coordinated by André Luiz Brandão (UFABC) and Luiz José Schirmer Silva (UFSM);
  • Culture Track: coordinated by Daniel Leite Costa (UniFacisa) and Juliana Santana Moura (UNEB);
  • Education Track: coordinated by Daniela Karine Ramos (UFSC), Pedro Henrique Dias Valle (USP), and Vanessa Andrade Pereira (UNIFESP);
  • Industry Track: coordinated by Rooney Moreira de Castro (UFJF) and Cristhyane Ribeiro Martins da Silva (Sinergia Games);
  • Health Track: coordinated by Isabel Cristina Siqueira da Silva (UFSCPA) and Tânia Zaverucha do Valle (FIOCRUZ).
